To Post Or Not To Post That Is The Question

So I have been struggling with a dilemma recently on what I post on my blog and what I don’t. The thing is I have written a few bits and pieces over the last few months, the odd poem that pops into my head mainly as a break from my wandering thoughts on my fantasy novels and now the question is do I post any of it on here?

I want to, but the dilemma is should I? If I do will I then never be able to submit any of what I have written to competitions because it’s appeared technically already online?

Not knowing many fellow writers who have this issue, I find myself in a quandary with no real solution.

Has anyone else had this problem? And if so please share your solution as I am befuddled, confused and being distracted from more annoying problems like dwarf names!

A short one today with a promise of something much more interesting over the weekend.
