I am still struggling to come up with the name of my arch villain. It has been perplexing me for awhile now and its really frustrating. Much like Fen Cleaver was eluding me, this guy needs even more coaxing to reveal himself.
I know the names of several of his partners in crime, his second in command even who is a key player in my fantasy world but there is his boss lurking in the shadows in both my novel and also in my head.
I find one of the best times for me to think about my ideas and play about with names in my head is when I am on my way somewhere, usually stopped at traffic lights where my mind wanders whilst waiting for the lights to change. Otherwise just how much of our lives do we waste waiting for lights to change? Or just stuck in traffic? The only downside to this is I have to remember the good bits until I am able to write them down.
So what is the solution to this problem? Maybe I need more traffic jams to give my brain the quiet time it needs to process my writing dilemmas. In the meantime who wants to suggest a name? You never know it might just stick!
