Being Brave

Well that’s it I’ve sent something in to a competition. I’ve submitted an entry to the 100 words story competition with Reader’s Digest so fingers crossed!

Not that I believe it will get anywhere near the top of the pile but at least I have actually sent something in rather than procrastinating so long that the submission date lapses whilst I dither over whether it’s good or not.

Another step along the writing journey, a small one but at least it’s a step in the right direction. I might even contemplate another one whilst I am at it. This bravery might just go to my head and about time to!

So now it’s your turn, do something brave this week, even if it is attempting to bake a cake, trying on that top you have been ogling in a shop for months wondering if you could get away with it or just saying hello to someone you like.
